Cookie Policy
How MediaRush Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on mediarush.pro. Effective 15 July 2026.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags, which we refer to collectively as "cookies" in this policy.
MediaRush Inc. ("MediaRush," "we," "us" or "our") uses cookies on mediarush.pro to ensure the website functions properly, understand how visitors use our site and, with your consent, support analytics and marketing activities.
2. How we use cookies
We categorise cookies into three types based on their purpose. When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category.
2.1 Essential cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They include cookies that remember your cookie consent preferences, maintain session state and protect against spam submissions (such as honeypot fields on our contact form). These cookies do not collect information for marketing purposes and are not used to track you across other websites.
- mr_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie preference choices (accept, reject or customised). Duration: 180 days.
2.2 Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with mediarush.pro by collecting aggregated, anonymised information about page views, navigation paths, time on site and technical errors. This data helps us improve website performance and content. Analytics cookies are only activated if you accept them through our cookie banner or customise your preferences to enable analytics.
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools that process data on our behalf. Analytics data is not used to identify individual visitors or to make automated decisions affecting you.
2.3 Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns and to deliver relevant content to visitors who have previously interacted with MediaRush. These cookies may track your visit across websites and are only activated with your explicit consent. We do not use marketing cookies to sell your data to third parties.
3. Managing your cookie preferences
When you visit mediarush.pro, our cookie banner presents three options:
- Accept all — Enables essential, analytics and marketing cookies
- Reject all — Enables only essential cookies required for site functionality
- Customise — Opens a panel where you can individually enable or disable analytics and marketing cookies while keeping essential cookies active
Your preferences are stored in the mr_cookie_consent cookie for six months. After this period, the banner will reappear so you can review and update your choices.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking all cookies may affect website functionality, including the contact form and preference storage.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies on our website may be set by third-party services we use, such as analytics providers or embedded content platforms. These third parties have their own privacy policies governing how they use cookie data. We select providers with strong privacy practices and require contractual protections where personal information is involved.
We do not control third-party cookies. If you have accepted analytics or marketing cookies and wish to opt out of specific third-party tracking, you may need to adjust settings on those providers' websites or use industry opt-out tools.
5. Cookies and personal information
Some cookies may collect information that is considered personal information under PIPEDA, such as IP addresses or unique device identifiers. When this occurs, our Privacy Policy governs how that information is collected, used and protected. Cookie data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, as described in section 2 of this policy.
6. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. MediaRush does not currently alter its cookie practices in response to DNT signals, but we honour the preferences you set through our cookie consent banner.
7. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements or our practices. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated through our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
